In addition to models with integrated motors, the SIMOGEAR series also offers motor input units suitable for various motors. Due to specially designed traction units, various Siemens motors can be installed, including asynchronous and synchronous motors. With the newly developed short coupling input unit, suitable gearmotors can be used for each application. The SIMOGEAR input unit currently includes:

IEC Motor Input Unit - There are two installation methods for IEC standard motors. It is recommended to use the short input unit K4 for general purposes and the coupling input unit K2 for more complex purposes. These input units can be installed on all types of SIMOGEAR gearboxes and conform to IEC standard flange (B5) dimensions.

NEMA Motor Input Unit - NEMA standard motors can be installed in two ways. It is recommended to use the short input unit K5 for general purposes and the coupling input unit K3 for more complex purposes. These input units can be installed on all types of SIMOGEAR gearboxes.

Servo Motor Input Unit - The servo motor input unit is based on three models. The first model is a new KS input unit that can be used for SIMOTICS S-1FL6, S-1FK2, S-1FK7, S-1FT7, and M-1PH8 motors, greatly expanding the Siemens servo motor drive system product line. The second model is a KQ input unit designed for Siemens SIMOTICS S-1FK7 and SIMOTICS S-1FT7 synchronous servo motors. The third model is a K8 input unit suitable for Siemens SIMOTICS M-1PH8 asynchronous motors.
